Joyce is a certified Yoga teacher with a love for Vinyasa and teaching around the world. She found Yoga and meditation after falling deeply in love with helping people find strength and self empowerment through the strength within their body. Additionally, Joyce has a strong background in personal training, martial arts and as a health and fitness coach. Her classes focus on building strength, flexibility and balance both on and off the mat. She has integrated yoga and meditation into her care beyond just the physical, by helping calm the mind and find peace for those amongst chaotic minds. Joyce has a warm, playful teaching style encouraging her students to heal their minds and bodies through the joy of movement and play.
Joyce graduated through the IMDHA (International Medical and Dental Association) as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Hatha Flow Teacher
Beginning her yoga journey in 2012, Jayleen really found her passion for yoga while traveling Australia in 2013. A 30 day Moksha hot yoga challenge solidified a decision to certify as a yoga trainer herself. In the foothills of the Himalayas, Jayleen completed her first intensive 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Rishikesh Yog Peeth over a 6½ weeks. Training continued shortly after, and in July of 2015 she completed a Moksha 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Kelowna. In the last year, Jayleen has been drawn to Vinyasa flow, Yin and SUP yoga. To say Jayleen is dynamic in her ability and training is an understatement!
Nina Thomas is a new yoga teacher currently completing her 200 hr yoga alliance certificate through Integrative Yoga Therapy at Yoga Studio 10, giving her a foundation in Eastern approach of the whole body using the Koshas or sheeths of our being as a guide to wellness on all levels. She is a creative soul and loves to provide guided imagery meditations to her students. Born and raised in the Comox Valley, Nina was introduced to yoga by her sister and Holy Cow Yoga Studio is where she first fell in love with yoga. With a focus on safety and guidance she is looking forward to learning and growing along side her students.
"I am a mother, an artist, an outdoor enthusiast and a Blissology-inspired Yoga Instructor living in the Comox Valley. I enjoy climbing rocks, riding bikes, and hiking mountains. I love movement that makes me feel alive, especially movement in wild, inspiring places. I value opportunities that allow for growth. I find these opportunities in nature, on my yoga mat, and in life in general.
My yoga journey started more as a means to improve my rock climbing abilities; to infuse more strength and flexibility into my climbing. As yoga does, when you commit time towards the practice, many layers of positive health benefits for body & mind started to show up in my daily life and help with so much more than I had originally expected. I chilled out more easily. I felt clearer, and more mindful. My yoga practice offers up the opportunity to check in with myself; to learn and grow through challenge and simply be with whatever is that day.
In the Spring of 2016 I travelled to Bali to study and train with Eoin Finn, and the Blissology Yoga crew. I completed my 200hr YTT with Blissology Yoga in 2016. In the summer of 2016 I completed an advanced training with Eoin Finn in Tofino called "Yogic By Nature". We dove deep into yoga philosophy, connection with the natural world and meditation techniques. I was invited back to Bali in the Spring of 2017 to complete my "Blissology YTT Assistant" certificate. This was an incredible experience, as I helped teach and assist the new Blissology students. In the summer of 2017 I had the pleasure of assisting Eoin at Wanderlust in Whistler.
Blissology Yoga stands rooted in the philosophies of love & connection, and striving to always deepen these connections we share with our communities and the earth. We practice a beautiful, alignment based class, while making time to also connect with each other.
I am so excited to be able to spread these teachings and amazing vibes throughout our community here in the Comox Valley. Classes will be open to all levels of experience. We keep it real, we connect, we learn and we grow.

Mansi has her First Level in Kundalini Yoga and currently pursuing Level 2, which can be completed within the terms of 5 years. She has an education in business administration, thus combining it with the knowledge of yoga for life and business coaching.
Mansi has been on her conscious journey for over a decade. Kundalini Yoga has become an essential part of her life bringing depth of inner connection, joy, clarity and containment. She is a Gong player (when it is available), which brings healing to the whole Nervous System.
She is also passionate about serving Women and their Femininity through Kundalini Yoga pre-natal classes and various practices for women’s empowerment.
Her classes are filled with love, gentleness and stability. Bringing the teachings of Yoga in an understandable way.
Mansi is constantly traveling the world, experiencing life and expanding her knowledge of yoga and meditation.
Kids Yoga Teacher
Sue’s passion for yoga originated while living in the Pemberton Valley, where she found additional strength, flexibility and confidence both on and off the mat. While developing her practice, Sue discovered tools helpful to handle the constant changes in life, and has grown into a dedicated practitioner with a strong background in child development. Sue received her RYT 200 hour while studying at Red Door Yoga in Lantzville and has since deepened her knowledge by specializing in yoga for children. In 2013 she began teaching children’s classes in the Comox Valley and celebrates the opportunity to witness the physical and emotional benefits of allowing children room to move and explore within their learning through yoga and meditation. Sue’s classes interweave asanas through song, story and dance; as well as presenting meditation in a developmentally appropriate way so that children are able to experience and explore yoga in a fun and playful manner. Sue is very excited to continue to share her knowledge and teach yoga to children in an enjoyable and creative way.
In her early twenties, Britt traveled to the birthplace of yoga where she was introduced to the true meaning of yoga or "yolk". It was at an ashram in Kerala that she discovered the feeling of union between the mind, body and soul. It has been over ten years since Britt has been practicing the art and lifestyle of yoga. She recently completed her 200HR YTT in Costa Rica with the Kula Collective. Britt's passion is to share the wisdom of yoga through her teaching. She has a solid foundation in yoga including history, 8 limbs of ashtanga yoga, anatomy and exploration of asana. She has cultivated a creative teaching methodology for holistic classes. Britt focuses on fostering the connection of breath work and poses to create balance. Her teaching style is full of love, authenticity and attention. Mountains and ocean are also great loves of Britt's and when she's not on the mat you'll find her climbing or surfing.
Christina Roersma has thru personal experience has seen and felt the benefits from a yoga practice. Due to this she decided to add it to her Wholistic practice as a teacher to continue to help others. She is a passionate soul full of knowledge. As she continues to Strengthen and Stetch herself come join in and support each other in this island life
